II Scientific and Practical Symposium named after Professor Boris Semyonovich Dobryakov

The symposium is dedicated to current issues of modern medicine and brings together such fields as surgery, plastic surgery, psychiatry, psychology, and the history of medicine, as well as the provision of surgical care to participants of the Special Military Operation. This is an interdisciplinary scientific forum bearing the name of the eminent surgeon, professor, and honorary citizen of the city of Novosibirsk, Boris Semyonovich Dobryakov.

Central to the symposium is the extensive legacy of this great scientist and practitioner. Boris Semyonovich made a significant contribution to the healthcare system of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk region, and his works have gained recognition far beyond Russia, giving the professor’s persona global significance.

The Medical Public Association named after Professor Dobryakov unites doctors of various specialties. These are not only surgeons and plastic surgeons, but also all those who strive to preserve the creative heritage of the scientist, enhance their own knowledge and skills for the benefit of Russian healthcare.

Venue

The event will take place in a unique location – the KUATANG tourist complex (website: http://kuatang.ru/), situated in Gorny Altai on the shore of Lake Teletskoye. The "Kuatang" River, which gave this picturesque spot its name, flows near the complex.

Lake Teletskoye is a pristine and untouched corner of nature, far removed from the urban hustle and industrial areas. It ranks as the second deepest body of water in Russia, after only Lake Baikal, reaching a maximum depth of 323 meters. The distance from Gorno-Altaysk to Lake Teletskoye is 157 km, and the road is fully paved. The final destination is completely equipped for active recreation and a pleasant stay.

The KUATANG tourist complex offers accommodation in three well-appointed cottages made of cedar wood, ideally suited for families and groups. The complex's amenities for guests include:

  • A wonderful banya (Russian bath);

  • Barbecue areas for cooking outdoors;

  • Parking for cars and other vehicles;

  • Video surveillance for the safety and comfort of guests.
