Boris Semenovich Dobryakov (17.02.1931-19.02.2021) Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Surgeon, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Excellent Health Worker, Excellent Higher School Teacher, Doctor of the Highest Category, Veteran of Labor, Honorary Resident of the City of Novosibirsk. Indeed, his voice, his external and internal beauty, instill peace of mind and a willingness for positive change. His colleagues and students were inspired by his ideas and strived to keep up with his professional growth and integrity. Professor Dobryakov's uniqueness lies in his ability to combine exceptional craftsmanship skills, research genius, and the ability to clearly explain complex concepts to both colleagues and patients. Born into a medical family, he graduated from the Novosibirsk Medical Institute in 1956. He has a total of 66 years of experience in healthcare. He defended his PhD thesis in 1962 and his doctoral thesis in 1973. He received the title of professor in 1976. He headed the Department of Surgical Diseases from 1983 to 1997. He worked as a professor at Novosibirsk State University until 2017. Until his last days, he was engaged in surgical and scientific activities. Boris Semenovich devoted his entire life to surgery. Continuously improving his skills, he achieved virtuoso mastery. Each movement is thought out, honed and perfect, which made the operations minimally invasive and effective. Boris Semenovich can be called a child prodigy in surgery. Already in his youth, he mastered such complex surgical interventions as esophageal plastic surgery and pancreatoduodenal resection. Later, he invented his own operation – resection of the head of the pancreas, which in the 70s became an innovative achievement in the surgery of pancreatic diseases and entered the practice of surgeons around the world. Being a polyvalent surgeon, versed in the issues of urology, cardiac surgery, gynecology, traumatology, purulent surgery, thoracic and plastic surgery, B.S. Dobryakov had a broad outlook, allowing him to accurately diagnose diseases and brilliantly perform many surgical interventions. The main direction of his activity was abdominal surgery, primarily operations on the stomach, bile ducts, pancreas, esophagus and intestines. During the study of diseases of the operated stomach, he was the first in Novosibirsk, in the early 70s, to use gastroscopy and, thus, introduced this method in our city. He performed many progressive operations in Novosibirsk first, and then taught them to young specialists. In the late 80s, Boris Semenovich, together with Olga Borisovna Dobryakova, became the actual founders of plastic surgery in our city. They invented and introduced into practice many methods of treating various cosmetic defects of the face and body, including complex reconstructive surgeries. The scientific activity of Professor B.S. Dobryakov is extensive. More than 400 publications, including monographs, patents, teaching aids for students and doctors. Dozens of dissertations were defended under his supervision. Boris Semenovich's fame as an innovator and outstanding surgeon goes far beyond our region and has a global scale. The main merit of Boris Semenovich to our city is tens of thousands of saved lives. Thanks to his talent, Professor B.S. Dobryakov was able to repeatedly strengthen his love for people and heal a huge number of patients with it.

Борис Семенович Добряков – Почетный житель города Новосибирск доктор медицинских наук, профессор, врач-хирург, Заслуженный врач РФ, отличник здравоохранения, отличник высшей школы, врач высшей категории, ветеран труда. Родился во врачебной семье, в 1956 окончил Новосибирский медицинский институт. Общий стаж работы в здравоохранении составил 66 лет. Кандидатскую диссертацию защитил в 1962, докторскую в 1973. Звание профессора получил в 1976. Заведовал кафедрой хирургических болезней с 1983 по 1997.В новосибирском государственном университете в должности профессора проработал до 2017 года. До последних дней занимался хирургической и научной деятельностью.
Всю сою жизнь Борис Семенович посвятил хирургии. Непрерывно совершенствуя свои навыки, он достиг виртуозного мастерства. Каждое движение продумано, отточено и совершенно, что делало операции малотравматичными и эффективными. Бориса Семеновича можно назвать вундеркиндом в хирургии. Уже в молодости он освоил такие сложнейшие хирургические вмешательства, как пластику пищевода и панкреато-дуоденальную резекцию. В дальнейшем он изобрел собственную операцию – резекцию головки поджелудочной железы, которая в 70 годы стала инновационным достижением в хирургии заболеваний поджелудочной и вошла в практику хирургов всего мира. Являясь поливалентным хирургом, разбирающимся в вопросах урологии, кардиохирургии, гинекологии, травматологии, гнойной хирургии, торакальной и пластической хирургии, Б.С. Добряков обладал широким кругозором, позволяющим точно диагностировать заболевания и блестяще выполнять многие хирургические вмешательства. Основным направлением его деятельности была абдоминальная хирургия, прежде всего это операции на желудке, желчных путях, поджелудочной железе, пищеводе и кишечнике. Во время изучения болезней оперированного желудка он первым в Новосибирске, в начале 70-х применил гастроскопию и, таким образом, внедрил этого метод в нашем городе. Многие прогрессивные операции он выполнил в Новосибирске первым, а затем обучил им молодых специалистов. В конце 80-х годов Борис Семенович совместно с Ольгой Борисовной Добряковой стали фактически основателями пластической хирургии в нашем городе. Они изобрели и внедрили в практику многие способы лечения различных косметических дефектов лица и тела, в том числе, сложные реконструктивные операции.
Научная деятельность профессора Б.С. Добрякова обширна. Более 400 публикаций, среди которых монографии, патенты, методические пособия для студентов и врачей. Под его руководством защищены десятки диссертаций. Известность Бориса Семеновича, как новатора и выдающегося хирурга выходит далеко за пределы нашей области и имеет общемировые масштабы.
Главная заслуга Бориса Семеновича перед нашим городом – это десятки тысяч спасенных жизней. Благодаря таланту, профессор Б. С. Добряков смог многократно усилить свою любовь к людям и исцелить ею огромное количество пациентов.
